Eligibility Criteria (2026)
Candidiates must satisfy all the conditions listed below as on the cut‑off date 31 May 2026. Failure to meet any requirement will result in rejection of the application.
Educational Qualification
Mandatory: MBBS degree from a university/college recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council.
Preferred: Post‑Graduate Diploma or Post‑Graduate Degree (MD/MS or equivalent) in relevant medical specialty.
Work Experience (post‑basic qualification)
Candidates holding only an MBBS degree must have a minimum of5 years’ experience as a General Practitioner**, calculated from the date of registration with the NMC/State Medical Council.
Candidates possessing a postgraduate degree (MD/MS) need a minimum of3 years experience as a General Practitioner** from the registration date.
Internship, teaching or training experience is not counted toward the above requirement.

Maximum age: 35 years for unreserved (UR) candidates.

Selection Process (2026)
